The Book Center
By Larry Linville
In many old churches they stand
bookcases which were once so grand.
Placed in a corner with much pride
for folks to read the books inside.
They stand there untouched yet today
where all the books are there to stay.
They sit there just collecting dust
with topics which were once a must.
But now they are so out of date
sitting in their lonely state.
It would be such a lovely grace
if brand new books were in their place
and people took the time to read
to grow from each spiritual seed.
